How to reach the LANMAN venue (CNR Headquarters):

From Rome’s “Leonardo Da Vinci” Airport (Fiumicino):

• Leonardo Express: direct train leaving every 30 minutes from the Airport to Termini Train Station. The ticket costs 14 €. More information at http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en
• Taxi: it takes about 45 minutes and the fare is about 50-60 €
• FR1 Train: regional train, directed either to Poggio Mirteto, Fara Sabina or Orte. Get out at Tiburtina Station stop. The ticket costs 8 €
• Faster trains (“Frecce”) cost 18€ and are maybe more recommended for travelers going to other Italian cities, rather than to Rome only.

From “Giovan Battista Pastine” Airport (Ciampino), Rome’s smaller airport

• Taxi: it takes about 30 minutes and the fare is 30 €.
• Terravision bus: directed to Termini Train Station, it takes about 45 minutes and the fare is 4 €. More information at terravision.eu

From Termini Train Station:

• Walking: turn right onto Via Marsala and walk for 650 meters, continue onto Piazzale Sisto V, turn right onto Via dei Ramni walking for 280 meters and turn left onto Via dei Liburni walking for 140 meters.
• Taxi: it takes about 10 minutes and the fare is 7-10 €.
• Bus 310: direction “Vescovio”, get out at the 4th stop. The bus ticket costs 1,50 €.

From Tiburtina Train Station:

• Bus 492: Getting out at the 6th stop, turn right and walk along Via dei Ramni. Then turn left onto Via dei Marrucini. The main CNR entrance is on your left. The bus ticket costs 1,50 €.
• Tube: B Line, direction to Laurentina, Castro Pretorio stop. Walk along Viale Castro Pretorio, continue onto Viale Pretoriano, turn left onto Via dei Frentani and enter the roundabout. The bus ticket costs 1,50 €.
• Taxi: it takes about 10 minutes and the fare is 7-10 €.
